# Clenching and Botox injection

Seeking feedback if anyone has done Botox injection for teeth clenching. I have worn night guard for years and clenching is getting worse and causing tooth damage, receding gums, torrie in bottom of my mouth and jaw pain.

If tried Botox, did it help  
And how long did it last?

my dentist has recommended botox for the same reasons - gum and teeth damage. i grind my teeth during the day too when i am tense.

i didn’t want to inject toxins into my jaw /body, as do we really know how safe it is.

i wondered the same as you - does it work and for how long?
