I’m a dedicated side sleeper and lately my shoulder pain has been getting worse. I’ve been reading a lot about how a body pillow for side sleepers can help with spinal alignment and reduce pressure on the shoulders and hips. Some people say it even helps with hip pain and keeps them from tossing and turning at night. I’m wondering if this could be a long-term solution rather than just a temporary fix.
For those who’ve tried using a body pillow:
- Did you notice less shoulder pain after making the switch?
- How long did it take to see improvement?
- Any recommendations for the best shapes or fillings (straight, U-shaped, memory foam, etc.)?
I’d also love to know if anyone tried one and didn’t find relief — curious about both good and bad experiences before I buy one.
