i have ongoing cervical and upper thoracic pain. and wondering if getting a pillow designed for both side and back neck positions will also decrease sleep paralysis.
my research found the tempur-pedic, cozy rest, ortorex, and hexocare.
I’m in need of the same thing. I used to have a memory foam pillow and that worked pretty well. I’m looking at hybrid pillows with shredded memory foam. Maybe that feedback will help you. I am hoping some folks respond with specific brand recommendations. I have chronic back pain and the right pillow for my legs, either below my knees on my back or between my legs laying on my side, really does help.
This weekend I used copilot (AI) to help me decide which pillow to buy. The last question I asked it - which would you recommend for your grandmother was useful.
After what I thought was extensive searching, Before I was about to purchase the CozyRest pillow I had one last look and found a pillow designed in New Zealand. I will try that and share the results. https://necksbestthing.co/
Just yesterday my Physical Therapist fsve me a cervical pillow. It’s a round, small diameter foal piece that tucks into the pillow case. She tucked it inside near the bottom and showed me how it fills the gap between your neck and the pillow. This is for side sleeping.
She also told me to try folding a small bath towel or sheet, placing it under you, perpendicular to your body just above the pelvis, again for slide seeping. Helps keep the back aligned. She said the cervical pillow would do the same but the sheet or towel was an easier start.
