Curious about transcutaneous vagus nerve stimulator

I have been dealing with insomnia for many years and have tried many different medications and sleep hygiene modifications. I recently saw an article that suggests transcutaneous auricular vagus nerve stimulation can help with insomnia.
I was hoping to see if anyone has ever tried it? And was it effective or not? Also if you can offer any feedback on what products may be best? I get snake oil vibes from some of the product websites… thank you!

I’m looking into the Truvaga Plus, but I also recommend the Fisher Wallace Stimulator to improve sleep. Currently, you can only buy the FW-100 (the original model) on eBay, however, they’re coming out with a new, sleeker design soon. Personally, I would save my money and buy a FW-100 from eBay. I’ve been using mine over 21 years. I still have sleep problems, but I also suffer from several mental illnesses and PTSD, so I’ve got a lot going on. Hope this helps.
