I am trying to help my partner who has Parkinson’s. The rattling he feels in his chest and extremities make it very hard to sleep. He might sleep an hour or two at a time if he is lucky. Then, there is the pain that his body is racked with from the constant shaking. What would be a safe product for him to use? Sleep meds work for a day or two and then stop. OTCs dont work at all. I am at my wits end on how to help him.
There is a incisionless brain surgery that is covered by Medicare called MRI guided focused ultrasound for tremor. It is for people with Parkinson’s or essential tremor. I had it done in March 2026 for essential tremor. I no be longer have tremors on my right side. I go in December for the left side. Look it up. Insightec is the company that has the proper equipment. They are scattered throughout the US.
