Greetings! I have had trouble sleeping since I was a very young child. My mother said sleeping with me was like sleeping with a tornado, and as an adult I was diagnosed with RLS and am successfully treated for that. However, as early as the age of four, it typically takes me 3-4 hours to fall asleep after going to bed. I am very slow to go into sleep and very slow to come out. Everyone who has ever witnessed me sleeping claims that my breathing is steady, consistent, not shallow, and that I never snore. My fitness devices show good oxygenation, and I’m almost always 100% when checked with an oximeter. Yet, the online quiz I just took here says I probably have sleep apnea. Hmmmm. Does sleep apnea keep you from being able to fall asleep? It’s very confusing.
