Hi, I have only just joined today as I have received the results of my sleep test, but they have not been checked yet. Is an AHI of 84.3 high and a ODI of 86.5? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Regards Gerard
Hi Gerard. This article on SleepApnea.org explains the AHI scale. An AHI of 84.3 would qualify as severe sleep apnea - it basically means that on average your breathing is slowing or stopping about 84 times per hour. The ODI score is very similar, but it tells you how many times per hour your blood oxygen level is going down.
Thank you David.
Regards
Gerard
