Hi,
I am a 58-year-old female and I’m in good physical shape. I have good sleep habits and exercise regularly (x25 years). My average daily resting heart rate (while awake) has been around 56 for the last few years. However, I have begun using a sleep app on my smart watch, and I noticed that my sleeping heart rate is usually a few points higher. This gives me a lower sleep score and I just wonder why my sleeping heart rate would be a little higher. I do take hormone replacement therapy… Estradiol and progesterone. My perception is that I sleep very well. I rarely have fatigue. I would love to know the experts’ thoughts on this! Thank you!
