Motor Blower Failure on ResMed 10

I’m on my second ResMed Air Sense 10 CPAP machine. In both cases, about two years in, right after the warranty expired, the blower motor started to malfunction and the machine started to increasingly make noise until you couldn’t sleep through it. I’m told from a national company that only does CPAP repairs that this is a common problem with ResMed, and that in fact ResMed is the only CPAP machine they repair. And, it’s a very expensive fix. QUESTION: Are there quality brands of CPAP that don’t have motor blowers that go out after two years?

I understand your frustration with the blower motor issues you’ve experienced with your ResMed AirSense 10 CPAP machines, especially since it seems to happen right after the warranty expires. It’s unfortunate to face this issue twice, but it’s great that you’re looking for alternatives.

When selecting a new CPAP machine, I recommend researching user reviews and warranty options carefully. Additionally, discussing your past experiences with suppliers or healthcare professionals can provide valuable recommendations tailored to your needs.

Lastly, consider reaching out to manufacturers directly to inquire about common issues and the durability of their products. Gathering as much information as possible will help ensure you choose the right machine that meets your requirements effectively.
