I just joined here because I honestly don’t know what else to try. For the past few months my sleep has been completely messed up. I go to bed tired but the moment I lie down my mind just won’t switch off, and even when I do fall asleep I wake up multiple times during the night. It’s starting to affect my mood, focus, and even my energy during the day. I’ve tried basic things like reducing screen time, fixing my schedule, even some “relaxation” tricks, but nothing is working consistently. Has anyone actually gone through something similar and found something that genuinely helped? I’d really appreciate real experiences because right now it feels like I’m just stuck in a loop.
I went through something very similar and what helped me most was sticking to a consistent sleep/wake time and avoiding caffeine later in the day. It took a couple of weeks, but gradually my sleep started improving and I felt less exhausted.
I limit my caffeine intake after 2:00 pm! then concentrate on drinking water. helps me go to sleep real good.
You describe my life before I went through a sleep study. It turns out, besides snoring, I had central complex sleep. I’m thinking you may want to consider getting a sleep study at a place where you actually spend the night. I’m on a therapy machine now and my sleep is restorative now with no snoring. Here’s hoping for the best.
I know how horrible is the problem. I had the CPAP sleep machine and did not help me. The machine was in Auto mode and the noise of the air wake me up. If you buy it be sure it is set exactly as you need it. Good luck
