Hello! I’m 82 and my CPAP is no longer working for me for many reasons. I have an appmt with a sleep MD to discuss getting a MAD in August. When I told the appmt person that I wanted to explore the idea of a MAD, he said that due to my age, weight, and absence of tissue, I was likely not a good candidate. Nothing I have read mentioned any of these limitations. I want to have my arguments ready, so can you help me understand why age, weight and absence of tissue are issues when using a MAD?
Thank you, David
