My insomnia is due to the fact that because I am vision impaired, blind in one eye and poor vision in the other eye, I do not get enough sunlight during the day my circadian rhythm is not ok. I need a small dose of melatonin to support the lack of my melatonin production due to the low vision

Hi! Thank you for sharing your experience. It makes sense that limited light exposure could affect your circadian rhythm—our bodies rely on sunlight cues to regulate sleep-wake cycles. Using a small dose of melatonin under guidance is a common way to help support your natural rhythm when light exposure is limited.
You’re not alone—many people with vision impairment face similar challenges with sleep. It sounds like you’re taking thoughtful steps to manage it, and paying attention to your body’s cues is important ![]()
