i wanted to share a resource that i have found helpful for about 15 years - EFT tapping.
there is a book focused on sleep and how EFT helps, by a world class researcher and expert on EFT, Dr Peta Stapleton.
the technique is a very simple and easy to learn process of tapping on 9 points around the face, head, collar bone and rib area. i prefer to listen to someone speaking and follow along, however there are scripts you can read and do, or you can say whatever you like to the tapping.
it is a scientifically supported method that helps address the root causes of our sleep disruptions - whether it’s stress, anxiety, physical discomfort, or racing thoughts. By tapping on specific acupressure points while focusing on your sleep challenges, you activate your body’s natural relaxation response, reducing stress hormones and calming your nervous system.
EFT has helped me so much over the 15 years i have been using it to reduce anxiety, calm my mind, and find solutions /root causes deep in my psychy i did not know were there.
