Reading every night before bed

Read every night before bed! I couldn’t recommend this enough! I used to stay up late into the night watching youtube videos, and then feeling guilty about it. I had like 100 books on my list to read, and now I’m working through those while getting my sleep back on track!

Is a Kindle ok or should it be a book?

The type of light that gets in the way of your sleep is “blue” light, which is generally the color of light used to backlight phone, tablet, and computer screens. If you can turn the backlight off on your kindle and use light from a lamp with warm lightbulb then you should be fine! Also, I believe some modern Kindles have a setting that changes the color of the light to a warmer, sleep friendly hue as well, so worth looking into whether you Kindle can do that!
